...and a very windy, chilly one! Apparently Nanimal Farm is much more sheltered from the wind than Pumpkin Vine Family Farm -- but then, they have all those beautiful rolling acres. I thought I might be overdressed for the temps when I left home. Ha! By the end of the day, I was wearing a wooly hat and blanket courtesy of Kelly.
In between chasing down flyaway signage, I managed to meet quite a few lovely people. Kelly and Anil have built up such a warm community there!
I enjoyed a sweet roll from B&T Baked goods, and brought home some of the goat's milk yogurt I love from Pumpkin Vine's goats, as well as some beautiful mushrooms from Wild Fruitings. I also received some lovely magnolia blossoms from Sharon at Crystal Lake Farm & Nursery, which brightened up a chilly afternoon for both me and Hazel.
